Lead Engineer for the mobiPV (Mobile Procedure Viewer). SW Engineer/Architect on early version developed for NEEMO19 (Android phone+Google Glass) and NEEMO21 and co-investigator for that mission. mobiPV tested at ISS in September 2015. mobiPV used for real operations on ISS on October 2018.Working in the Software Division to support Visualisation (Virtual and Augmented reality) activities within the Agency’s simulation systems. These activities runs from high-end virtual reality system using stereo projectors to wearable augmented reality solutions to support astronauts operations.Responsible for development and deployment of the Erasmus User Centre Virtual Reality system (ESTEC, The Netherlands) and the ATV real-time telemetry 3D visualisation tool known as GEV (ESTEC, The Netherlands, and ATV Control Centre at Toulouse). Validation and PA of GEV for operations, including the Telemetry interface with control centers.Working on different projects to support crew operations on ISS and long term missions, like the WEAR SDTO experiment flown on ISS late in 2009. Special emphasis on multi-modal HMI designs (voice commanding/GUI) as well as human factors on mobile/wearable devices to improve onboard procedure execution.Support to TEC-SWG Concurrent Design Facilities. Review of industrial contracts for several different activities, involving training, AI, Augmented Reality or visualisation.

Techinical Director and Software Engineer at UWO Ltd. working for Astraguard Ltd. in the area of video surveillance. Working in the design and development of the next generation Astraguard Ltd. surveillance solutions, including image processing algorithms and computer graphics visualisation. Implementation on embedded system involving Trimedia and Geode processors as well as, in standard PCs using OpenGL for HMI.Also developed the distributed architecture and implementation for the new company’s Large Site surveillance system. Design and implementation of all the protocols and interfaces, including relational databases connection.
