David is enthusiastic about designing streets, roads and pathways with a focus equitable and inclusive solutions. Taking scientifically defendable positions requires a strong foundation in data collection, analysis and interpretation; all skills that have been a focus when completing his Masters Degree in Transportation Engineering (Civil). David also believes in empowering those around him to their full potential, and has exercised this philosophy as an executive member of the University of Alberta's ITE chapter. Within the field of transportation and city building, key interest are in traffic simulation, traffic control designs (traffic signals), safety management and complete street designs.
