David J. Mason, the founder of HMG ePublishing, LLC, is an award-winning author and digital publishing entrepreneur on the Internet since 2002, providing technological and telecommunication services. His digital publishing curiosity began during the early formative stages of the digital publishing industry when he converted one of his previously published traditional manuals into an electronic book. An advocate for digital publishing, Mr. Mason developed and perfected the HMG ePublishing ebook publishing, production, promotion, distribution, and fulfillment process. In 1997, he created a stand-alone electronic book (ebook) in a general-purpose programming language that did not require an ebook reader to peruse and was usable on any Windows operating system device. About five years later, to produce, distribute and promote the ebooks he created and other digital publications, he founded HMG ePublishing LLC, a digital publishing company. Before starting the company, Mr. Mason served in various chemical industry leadership positions, culminating as Vice President for the Hatco Corporation.
