Hello everybody my name is David Mason III and I am currently serving as a Consultant in the Partnership Solutions Group for the Big 4 firm Deloitte. I graduated as a double major in Business Marketing and Accounting at the Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. As a former student athlete, I embrace taking on challenges and building a culture of teamwork and dedication to accomplish success in my professional career.In my academic career I have had the opportunity to work in teams, work with technology, as well as working with customers to satisfy their needs. These experiences have helped me to forge great skills and knowledge that I plan to use in my professional career. These various skills include knowledge of intermediate usage of Microsoft Excel, team building skills, leadership skills, being able to properly communicate with customers, intermediate knowledge in Spanish, and even the use of social media marketing business tools. Professionally, I have been able to further expand my skillset in Excel, Power BI, SAP, K1G, and BI Reporting (SAP), as well as beginner knowledge of Alteryx. Having the ability to work with other professionals and clients has given me the ability to advance my communication skills to ensure my team meets deadlines on all of our tasks. I have also had the opportunity to work with people virtually from overseas in terms of work delegation, tasks, meetings, and job training. My diverse skillset will help me to be ready for any kind of situation in the business world.My future goals are to continue to expand upon my knowledge and skills through my experiences as a professional consultant. I am currently studying for the CPA exam and aim to pass all 4 sections.
