My experience throughout my career has been versatile. For three summers during college, I worked on the City of Elmhurst, IL's contract paving program. This involved field surveys and construction inspection of local streets, as well as office work related to such field inspections. I started full-time with DLZ immediately after college, in which I computed quantities, drew sight lines, developed environmental protection plans, and used the INDOT drainage spreadsheet. I later worked at Wightman Petrie, where I enhanced my AutoCAD skills, and developed Rule 5 plans. For the last several years, I have been employed at TEG Engineering, starting as a civil/structural engineer, and currently working as a senior engineer. Here, I have prepared and managed retaining wall projects at the bid and design stages, trained new employees, and have worked on multiple research and development projects.
