This is the most united I have ever seen pilots in my 30 years in aviation, across airlines and fleets. If you have flown long enough it probably isn't the first time you have faced this kind of adversity through redundancy or companies going bust but never before have we all faced the challenge together. Big picture is YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I have spent most of my time on the ground sharing my skills and qualifications to support pilots' by posting free videos and tutorials on simulator exercises on Youtube @737simguide. The goal is to to create a community and help us all maintain our skills and knowledge and stay connected with our identity through isolation and lock down. Also, to help you perform at your very best in the simulator whether for recurrent checks, returning to flying or getting hired.I have also been supporting pilots maintain their type ratings by helping to find the most affordable solutions across Europe for Skills tests, LPC, Covid Extensions, sim prep for interviews or just jumping in the sim and flying for an hour to dust off the rust and get some handling.This situation is mentally challenging for all of us, but I am sure this isn't the first time you have faced a challenge and overcome it, far from it. This is another emergency for us to deal with and put behind us. United we stand.
