I head up Shoosmiths' Planning offer in the North and advise both public and private sector clients on all aspects of planning, highways and compulsory purchase law. I have considerable experience of advising on high value infrastructure projects, residential developments, compulsory purchase orders and highways orders.I regularly advise on complex planning agreements for major residential schemes involving multiple parties with diffuse objectives. I also have significant experience of guiding acquiring authorities through all aspects of the compulsory purchase process, leading large multi-disciplinary teams from the inception and land referencing stages of a scheme through to implementation of compulsory purchase powers.
