An experienced, commercial, hands on Financial Director with many years’ experience with SME’s in the Midlands. I have worked predominantly in manufacturing and B2B distribution and enjoy being involved in all areas of business.I have strong commercial skills and have worked on acquisition integration, procurement, costing, commercial negotiations etc. This is combined with the “usual” FD responsibilities, financial reporting and control, budgeting, treasury management and cash flow, working with banks, auditors, insurance brokers and other third parties as required.I enjoy encouraging members of the team so they can achieve their potential. I do this by working with them to develop new ways of working either by maximising existing IT systems or introducing new processes and procedures. I am very focused on aiding my “customers” either internally or externally. I look to provide information and analysis in a clear, concise and timely way to drive profitable decision making and long-term success.
