Review remedial investigation, feasibility study, remedial design, remedial action and operation and maintenance plans and reports. Represent the state at meetings where information about remedial activities is disseminated to the public. Provide technical information and explanations, to present the state’s position on planned activity at various sites, to federal, state, and local government officials, as well as corporate executives, engineers, lawyers, and others representing owners or operators. Provide overview and co-direct remedial activities at EPA and contractor-led NPL and NPL-caliber sites throughout the remedial activities. Make frequent field visits to assure adequacy of work and to oversee progress on implementation of remedial measures.
