Designing and delivering training courses on a range of Sustainability related topics. including Sustainable Finance, ESG, Real Estate, and Carbon Literacy.

Teaching Academic English in the Academic Support department to Emirati undergraduates.

Teaching English language preparation classes for technicians and pilots in the UAE military. Courses taught include; Technical English, English for Aviation, Military English and exam preparation for the ALCPT and IELTS tests. Current duties involve scheduling, course planning and materials creation. I liaise regularly with UAE military personnel organising and delivering short and medium length courses. I also work closely with the Systems Approach to Training Department as a Subject Matter Expert.

Faculty, Foundations Department Teach English to Emirati students in preparation for entry to degree programmes. My duties involve teaching IELTS preparation classes for all four main skill areas, reading, writing, speaking and listening. I am also involved in writing materials and preparing assessments. Working at HCT has given me a strong knowledge of mobile learning technology in education as HCT have been at the forefront of the introduction of iPads in the classroom. While at the HCT I also forged very good relationships with my Emirati students, being heavily involved managing sports events and other extra –curricular activities

I was given the responsibility of setting up a new English language foundation unit for students entering EIBFS diploma courses. The core role of this unit is to raise students’ English language levels to IELTS Band 5. I was responsible for all aspects of the set up and running of the department including course design, content selection, staff recruitment and marketing. I also taught Banking English and IELTS preparation classes

Supervised all academic matters including material development, exam preparation and management for the Banking Diploma. Duties included liaising with the Institute of Financial Services, London. Responsible for recruiting and managing part-time faculty, scheduling classes and reviewing, writing and editing training materials for Banking Theory, Customer Service and Marketing among others. Dealt with over 500 students in 2 campus locations.
