Responsible for liaison and providing advice to the Ship’s Master, which included drawing up anti-piracy plans for vessels, weapon training and weapon safety, crew briefings, planning and running on-board training exercises and maintaining professional standard of security staff at all times. In addition to being accountable for ensuring BMP4 standards were followed and adhered was responsible for direct liaison to UKMTO. Furthermore, oversaw responsibility for the welfare, morale and discipline in addition to appraisal writing for all team members. Familiar with and responsible for compiling other security related reports, including Ship Security Reports (SSR) and Post Transit Reports (PTR).

Nigeria

Security Liaison Officer for the Lagos Office of Control Risks Africa on an Oil & Gas seismic survey vessel responsible for liaison with the Master and crew ensuring they were kept up to date and informed on all local and regional security information on a daily basis. Furthermore, other responsibilities included direct liaison with all heads of departments in daily meetings to cover all planned work ensuring all were aware of what security measures would be implemented and in place, which included ensuring staff at all levels were correctly briefed.

West Lancashire

Duties involved driving Coaches 16-52 seats. School Contracts taking children to and from school, excursions and day trips. When there was no coach work booked in I drove my own 8 seater minibus which I used as a Private Hire Taxi. Other duties included helping to maintain the Vehicles and fault diagnosis.

Liverpool

Responsible as Landlord for the day to day running of a public house including overseeing the welfare and security of all staff and customers. Other responsibilities included full accountability for all financial aspects.
