• Ensure that the collection, preparation, packing and storage of cuttings samples, by the mud loggers are done in an accurate and proper manner in accordance with Excellence Logging procedures and the Client requirements. • Eexamine and describe samples as per oil industry standards and the Client’s specifications for specific indications related to drilling efficiency and pore pressure evaluation. • Maintain personal knowledge of current techniques for the interpretation of geological data. • Use industry and Client provided gas interpretation methods to evaluate the quality of reservoirs and source rocks. • Supervise and be responsible for the quality and accuracy of the design and production of the Mud log and Gas Ratio log.
