Drive the strategic approach for increase access to economic opportunities through vocation training and access to finance for a USAID HEARTH projet in north east DRC in partenership with Barrick Gold subsidiary Kibali Gold Mine. Key responsibilities include: • Provide technical leadership to identified components of the program supporting youth access to skills, entrepreneurship training, economic strengthening, as well as engagement with private sector employers.• Lead execution of program delivery, and measures progress against approved work plan and reporting against performance monitoring plan.• Responsible for ensuring the timely and quality completion of the project component technical and financial deliverables and reports, in accordance with USAID guidelines.• Build effective relationships with all key stakeholders.• Manage long-term staff and short-term advisors in a respectful and transparent manner, ensuring achievement of project results.• Promote sustainability of project component activities through linkages to other programs, and institutional strengthening of implementing partners and community-based organizations.

Drove the strategic reflections aimed at improving the performance and economic viability of project supported Micro, Small, and Meduim Size Entreprises and oversee the implementation and development of Village Saving and Loan Associations which have proven by be valuable alternatives for access to finance in rurale communities were Micro Finance Intitutions are inexistant.Key Achievements on the role : • Led the negotiations with Micro Finance Institutions that resulted to doubling amount of credit granted by Micro Finance Institutions to the program supported Smallholder Farmers and Community Based Saving compared to the previous 2 years results. • Coordinated the business incubation and competition that led to the unlocking of the Business Challenge Grant for 20 Innovative youth led start-ups

• Project focal point on a Public Private Partnership with Orange Telcom and a local startup, #KivuGreen, for the development and piloting of the first #Agritech solution in the country. The digital solution provid Market System Information, Market Linkage, Agriculture Advice, and Wheather Forcast to smallholder farmers and others agriculture value chain actors. • Responsible to the design and implementation of the project youth employment strategy Key Achievements on this role: • 22 agriculture SMEs supported, recording an average 75% increase in revenues, as well as new market opportunities;• Over 1,000 jobs created (48% female, 52% male) across communities and targeted value chains; • 1,000 youths trained in agribusiness with over 70% of them reinvesting income generated in existing or new businesses;• 5000 smallholder farmers and market actors receiving Market System Information and Good Agriculture Practice via their Mobil phones (Pilot phase).

I support the company in developping market research questionnaires and led the market research team. I also actively contributed in the development of the company growth strategy.
