Responsible for increasing plant stability with a focus on improving throughput and reducing scrap in hips value stream. Main responsibilities• Generate a daily scrap report and lead a cross-functional team to action scrap reduction and throughput improvements.• Lead investigator for non-compliance issues in hips value stream. • Deliver weekly scrap reports to management focusing on cost reduction and stability improvement within hips value stream. • Played a key role on repair of cleanliness, sealers, part markers, scanners and sealers; arranging repairs while ensuring compliance with quality control and regulatory bodies. • Complete DOE/IOQ/PQ validations on manufacturing equipment• Design and develop tools, fixtures and special equipment for manufacturing operations in conjunction with tool room technicians and external vendors• Key organising member of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team.
