Remote, production operations & engineering support across 3 onshore fields, utilizing rod and jet pumps a complex network of pipelines and relying on an effective water treatment and disposal.

Various contract assignments as part of RISC technical teams, including: Verified OPEX & CAPEX costs as part Reserves reviews,  Reviewed and evaluated valuated capital project viabilities, costs and and risks. Independent technical authority review of critical equipment functionality

Supported appraisal of Assets/Organizations in Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia. Included assessing both CAPEX and OPEX costs, asset operability, operational risk & HSSE.Assisted preparation of major investment proposals to potential equity and debt funders.

Well Integrity Assessment & Improvement Designed & managed gas field well integrity improvement plan gaining complete regulatory certification.Production Performance Review & Enhancement:  Extensive review of production uplift opportunities on under producing onshore wells. Short listed then implemented improvement options and more effective use of available facilities

Managed production optimisation and uplift projects for both an onshore gas and an onshore oil field

Led planning and implementation of production operations & projects on Addax’s largest asset - annual revenue ~US$1.5B, leading a large multi-disciplinary team of technical professionals.  Developed Asset reference plan defining production, and development priorities to maximise Asset value and reduce HSSE and business interruption risk. Led subsurface and surface teams in Field Development plan generation and rapid implementation.  Drilling and Completion program Asset approver, completion and gas lift design approval. Led government regulator liaison and approval on complex investment and environmental matters: realised Addax’s first field wide gas utilisation plan; Gained US$300M+ approval for critical infill drilling project.  Led team of ~20 direct and indirect reports: championed alternative drilling technique saving ~US$6M p.a.  Development project evaluation and justification: ranked projects and allocated priorities and resources. Staff development and mentoring; designed staff training plans, expat mentor of Nigerian tech. graduates. Rated companywide leading performer (top ~7.5%) of 400 employees in last year of assignment.

Responsible for transitioning an offshore subsea asset into a non production phase. Work included planning and implementing:- Integrity testing program for subsea wells- Flushing and inhibition program of subsea piping and umbilical network- Coordinating rig-less intervention of subsea well to conduct zonal abandonment.

Managed Production, budget and HSSE risk in operationally challenging Subsea Field utilising and FPSO. Managed vessels, helicopters and subsea infrastructure with 140 reports across staff and contractors. Led constant evaluation of operating practices, identifying production enhancement, cost and risk reduction opportunities. Led production optimisation initiatives on Subsea wells and infrastructure. Acted as SIMOPs Manager for subsea Workover campaign, evaluating required trade-offs to safely maximise production and minimise costs from both producing and intervened wells. Asset team gained two APPEA safety awards for innovative inspection technique removing requirement for divers – generating A$4M+ (~20%) in savings and markedly removing risk to divers.
