Previously I led development of 2.5D, 3D, MCM's, and test. I also led internal and external packaging operations including factories, suppliers, cost, and performance. We drove the culture of continuous improvement and cost reduction deep into the organization Prior to Global Foundries/Marvell, I worked for 11 years at Amkor Technology leading business unit growth and technology development, focusing on products for mobile, high performance computing, and gaming applications. Responsibilities included P+L ownership, customer development, technology development and qualification, and world-wide factory performance to ensure success on both high mix/low volume and high volume/low mix. We worked deeply with customer architects to solve long term challenges. Prior to this, I led operations, product development, and process development of implantable medical devices (defibrillators and pacemakers) at Biotronik GmbH. This included leading manufacturing, implementing lean manufacturing, technology development and implementation, redevelopment of product lines, and regulatory interface.
