Staff Construction and Project Manager, Engineering-Construction Department, administering and managing Major Maintenance and Capital Improvement Projects.

Bridge Engineer and Estimator for bidding projects which includes responsibility to conduct detailed plan and specification review, defining scope of work, quantity of construction materials, determine construction methodology, pre-engineering, establishing estimating activities for work completion, assigning labor, equipment, materials and supplies to summarize estimated cost of construction, coordinating sub-contracted work, building preliminary schedule, assigning overhead costs and closing out bids for submission.Currently project manager for active project installing 1,500 LF structural sheet pile / cast-in-place concrete retaining wall and associated improvements for SDUSD at Correia Middle School. Project includes burn ash site mitigation / testing and ultimate addition of soil cap with decorative blend of hardscape and lansdscaping.Completed project management for two design-build NAVFAC projects: Replace Concrete Boat Ramp (MCB Camp Pendleton) and Repair Aircraft Anchor Pier (MCAS Yuma). Coordinate all phases of design with designer of record sub-consultant, design tasks include survey, geotechnical investigation, existing utility research, quality control reviews, plan detail development, managing design document deliverables and leading in all Government design milestone coordination meetings and building and updating CPM cost-loaded schedules.Completed assignment as Project Manager / Project Engineer on $10 million bridge and roadway improvement project for NAVFAC SW on MCB Camp Pendleton, CA. Project constructed a 200 foot box girder bridge structure for grade separation at main gate intersection, CIP concrete retaining walls, new PCC vehicle ramps and drainage and wet utility infrastructure along Vandegrift Blvd. and Wire MT Road. Also completed providing construction engineering design / support for new railroad bridge project on MCB Camp Pendleton.

Preparation and in responsible charge of all civil engineering related design documents, including but not limited to, comprehensive hydrology and drainage studies/reports and corresponding storm drain system design, NPDES compliant storm water quality research and permanent BMP design integration, Caltrans and EPA SWPPP development and implementation support, Storm Water Master Plan Studies, Storm Water pump station and forcemain design, design development studies and final design for water resources, wastewater and fire prevention water systems, precise grading design, street and roadway design, traffic handling plans and writing technical specifications. As Civil Engineering Manager, responsibilities also included participation in and organization of project coordination and planning meetings with Clients as well as Government agencies such as Caltrans, County and City of San Diego and other municipalities and Utility Districts throughout Southern California. Moreover, as an office Supervisor, my responsibilities extended to managing the work of drafters, assistant engineers and surveyors in our effort to meet project design, schedule and budget goals. Further, I assisted the Company's managing partner in preparation of Proposals, including producing fee estimates and project approach narratives, as well as delivering professional interviews to prospective Clients.
