During my time at Arvato I have worked closely with the Project Manager (HR) on a number of projects. I worked on a project in order for the business to gain Investors in People accreditation, during which time I was required to create and deliver a large number of presentations, which I delivered to all members of staff during a three week period. I also created a number of other communications designed to raise awareness of the project, including a leaflet which was rolled out to sites across the country. I am also working with the head of corporate development on bid work, which has involved the online research of a number of high profile companies with a view to providing services via outsourcing. Research included: finding out the number of employees the company has in the UK, whether functions such as HR, finance and procurement have been outsourced and the viability of the company as a target.I also conducted a review into policy and procedures within the company (specifically the revenues department), this involved conducting a large number of interviews with members of staff (including management) to ascertain aspects of the business where improvements have been made and where further change is needed.
