My role as an HR and PR Application Consultant has to do with many different aspects of the client implementation starting with the design, actively implementing and supporting the client through implementation, and finally the transition to ongoing support. Typically my role will be active with 3 clients in the implementation process at the same time. This can range from clients with 1 EIN, 1 State, 250 Employee's to 50 EIN's, Multi-State, 5000+ Employee Count. Below are a few key features of my role as an HRMS Application Consultant.• Preparation of detailed analysis of business processes, including client interviews, current flow validation, and development of automated flow charts detailing process steps, hand offs and decision points.• Providing technical on-site applications support to customers, answering complex questions on function and usage of product.• Serving as primary support liaison between company and customer, conveying customer feedback to product development staff.• Providing consultative and technical support to Kronos Application Consultants through working on projects, mentorship and in-house education.• Maintain a high level of enterprise competence, coordinate development and assignments as well as identify, capture and share expertise.• Providing both pre-sales and service support where domain or product expertise does not exist within the organization.• Strong knowledge level of Human Resource rules and regulations and current Payroll Laws on the Federal and State level• Strong knowledge of Benefits Administration including the Affordable Care Act• Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft SQL Studio

Manage all in-house payroll functions for a facilities maintenance company. Accountability extends to calculating, printing, and delivery of payroll checks 6,000+ employees for 275+ locations across the United States and Canada. Responsible for the calculating, maintaining, depositing, and filing all weekly and bi-weekly payroll taxes for the United States and Canada locations. Hire and supervise a payroll staff of five. As a management team member, participate in strategic planning, including payroll distribution methods, timekeeping methods, and workflow process methods through the new ERP system.Corporate liaison with outside vendors for courier services (UPS and Fed Ex), pay card services (US Bank and Bank of America), tax deposit services (ADP and Ceridian), time and attendance systems (Timecentre and Timelink), and ERP system (Abra, Solomon, and JD Edwards)Select Contributions:Streamlined processes and procedures that allowed the Payroll Department staff count to go from 8 employees to 4 employees while increasing the company headcount from 3,000 to 6,000 employees. Was the 6th person hired in a start up Payroll Service. Was brought in to help create Policy and Procedures along with training new payroll specialists that were brought on board. Processed payroll and build relationships with clients that ranged from 20 employees to 500 employees. This ranged in payroll cycle from Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly to Monthly. 6 months into the position I was promoted to an Implementation Specialist. It was my responsibility to take all new clients just leaving the sales process to make sure that they have a clean transition to their new payroll service. I would validate Federal and State Identification numbers, deductions, taxes and I would audit the payroll history from whatever system they were previously using.14 months into the position I was transferred to the Packaging and Distribution department. There was one employee I supervised there. I was in charge of maintaining vendor relationships with the couriers, payroll check vendors, and the office machines. This move was made so I could spend more time on special projects. Was a resolution specialist for Major Market Accounts for ADP. Major Markets specialized in clients ranging from 50 - 1000 employees. Job duties included troubleshooting transmission errors, balancing payroll registers, setting up taxability for deduction codes, direct deposit and other banking issues.Was part of the testing team to test and provide feedback on new products and services that we being offered by ADP.

Had a client base of 300+ clients in all 50 States. Was responsible for all input, maintenance, and validation of all payroll entries including hours, deductions, taxes, union dues, garnishments, and banking. Was part of the Quarter End Testing Team that was responsible for maintaining and validating all quarter end and year end entries to test that the system is calculating correctly. This validation was done by manually recreating the Quarter End and Year End tax returns and matching them to the system results.Was part of the Paylink Team. This was an electronic submittal service that had clients become more self sufficient. I maintained the highest level of Paylink clients and started a Paylink initiative that increased Paylink enrollment throughout the branch. This allowed Payroll Specialists to have take on more clients without increasing overhead.Was part of the E-Timesheets rollout. This was a new service that was trying to be rolled out by Paychex. I was one of two people in the branch rolling out this product. I was in charge of promoting, training, debugging, and maintaining the E-Timesheet system. This product was aimed to capture the percentage of customers that were not on Paylink but wanted to be self sufficient.
