Was the 6th person hired in a start up Payroll Service. Was brought in to help create Policy and Procedures along with training new payroll specialists that were brought on board. Processed payroll and build relationships with clients that ranged from 20 employees to 500 employees. This ranged in payroll cycle from Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly to Monthly. 6 months into the position I was promoted to an Implementation Specialist. It was my responsibility to take all new clients just leaving the sales process to make sure that they have a clean transition to their new payroll service. I would validate Federal and State Identification numbers, deductions, taxes and I would audit the payroll history from whatever system they were previously using.14 months into the position I was transferred to the Packaging and Distribution department. There was one employee I supervised there. I was in charge of maintaining vendor relationships with the couriers, payroll check vendors, and the office machines. This move was made so I could spend more time on special projects. This allowed Payroll Specialists to have take on more clients without increasing overhead.Was part of the E-Timesheets rollout. This was a new service that was trying to be rolled out by Paychex. I was one of two people in the branch rolling out this product. I was in charge of promoting, training, debugging, and maintaining the E-Timesheet system. This product was aimed to capture the percentage of customers that were not on Paylink but wanted to be self sufficient.
