I'm a software engineer with experience developing applications in Python and JavaScript. For the last decade-plus I taught college history and religious studies courses. I can lean heavily on my academic background as I write excellent documentation, quickly learn new tools, and take on the challenge of simplifying complex ideas into clean code. Personal projects have made me comfortable with Flask, Node, Express, React, and PostgreSQL, with unit and integration tests using Jasmine, Jest, unittest, or pytest. I'm currently learning Jenkins and Docker to automate my CI/CD pipeline.I also have managerial and project management experience as the multi-year managing editor of the largest religious studies podcast where I led an international team of more than a dozen scholars.
