We travel around from city to city doing custom training classes for individuals, such as lineman and cable installers, who do not have experience with fiber optics. We teach them the basics theories, and then we also have hands-on classes. I can provide a variety of consulting/contract services related to advanced Test and Measurement for fiber-based photonic testing (BERT, Spectrum Analysis, Sampling Oscilloscope testing, etc.). I also provide consulting for product development specializing in this area of T&M.

The Centellax portfolio of products continues to be offered and improved upon under the Microsemi (Nasdaq: MSCC) name: Centellax was acquired on September 16, 2014 by Microsemi.My role included extensive and frequent global interaction with leading Telecom optical transport network (OTN) customers for supporting market analysis, product definition and requirements, and account management.I represented Centellax as a corporate member of the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) and participated in the development and advancement of the standards and implementation agreements to enable 100G and 400Gb long haul coherent transmission.The Centellax design staff combined the best in millimeter-wave engineering and high speed digital design. This included a team of experts responsible for developing and shipping more traveling wave amplifiers than anyone in the world to date, a mixed signal design team with a track record of successful high speed digital/analog products, and an expertise deeply rooted in the test and measurement industry. This knowledge base and focus allowed Centellax to develop and introduce high performance products for the high speed/high frequency markets in record time.As Product Manager I specialized in the 40G, 100G, and forward looking 400G solutions for telecom, regional, and metro fiber optic links requiring state of the art microwave semiconductors for high speed receivers in these application areas. My responsibilities oversaw all Product Management aspect of new product development and introduction for the latest drivers to support highly linear applications for PAM-4, DMT, OFDM and other leading edge modulation formats to enable the 400Gb OTN Long Haul, Regional, Metro, and also the emerging IEEE802.3bs 400GbE effort for mega datacenter transport.

Management role at Tektronix for ~5 years was functional Engineering Manager for the hardware engineering group in the high bandwidth sampling oscilloscope and communication signal analyzer instrument product line.
