Over the last eight years, Mr. McCrea and the founders of Merit Laboratory Partners have positioned the company to be among the leaders in the design, development and management of physician office labs, independent clinical reference labs and hospital labs. In 2017, Mr. McCrea and the founders of MDx Partners, LLC created a lab design, development and management company to serve the dynamic next generation sequencing (NGS) and real-time PCR (RT-PCR) lab market segment by providing molecular diagnostic expertise.In addition to the laboratory development and management services provided through Merit Laboratory Partners and MDx Partners, Mr. McCrea and team have built and operate two independent clinical reference laboratories providing molecular diagnostic testing services since early 2018.Mr. McCrea’s career in healthcare sales, marketing, management and business development began in 1997 and has included positions with Bristol-Myers Squibb, Cephalon, Inc. and other biotech companies. Mr. McCrea has held executive leadership positions with Insight Diagnostics, LLC, Crestar Labs, MD&S, Nashville IOM, North Tower IOM and Northwest IOM. Mr. McCrea earned his BA in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana-Monroe.
