I started off working in the food industry at Eureka!, The Organic Coup, and Tacubaya. I worked as a Server, Busser, and as a Cashier. During this time I was in college and I learned to move pianos, both grand and upright pianos. I also started to help with moving jobs during this time (2016-2018).I finished community college and transferred to San Jose State, majoring in Sociology. Simultaneously, I started working full-time as a “Moving Helper” for a new mobile app called “Lugg”. I worked for this app until ( August 2019). I returned to work as a “Driver” for the previous company I started doing moving jobs with in (September 2019). This company trained me, and i drove box trucks from 10ft - 26ft with no accidents. Tragically the business owner passed away unexpectedly. (October 2021)I began working as an “Apprentice Builder” in January 2022. Construction has always been a huge interest of mines. I love to be outside and to be physically active everyday. I feel unfulfilled indoors for extended periods of time. I just did not know where to begin learning construction for a livable wage. I am grateful to have that opportunity.
