Senior Project Manager
CurrentMr. McCune is a senior project manager with 17 years of structural engineering experience. He has served as designer, technical lead, or project manager on various transportation projects and has specialized in project design and delivery to railroad clients. He has experience with numerous bridge superstructure and substructure types, passenger station structures, miscellaneous drainage structures, retaining walls, and shoring. He also has experience designing ballasted, open deck, and direct fixation track structures, including dynamic rolling stock analyses and investigation of rail-structure interaction. Mr. McCune has led projects for both passenger and freight rail clients. He currently serves as the Rail Bridge Team Lead in HDR’s Manhattan office where he is the technical lead for rail structures tasks in the New York/New Jersey Area. He is also an active member of AREMA and sits on AREMA Committee 8 (Concrete Structures) and serves as a subcommittee chair on Committee 12 (Rail Transit).
