I am presently a licensed Public Adjuster in the State of California, working in the sales department with a firm in Chico. I have spent the majority of my professional career in the fields of Disaster Restoration Services (3rd generation, my father is a CR), Home Improvement and Remodeling Services as well as business ownership in both fields. Prior to becoming a PA, I owned and operated a remodeling and restoration company. At one point we were conducting business in Nevada, California and Oregon with a staff of 15 and a strong sub contractor network. My company set the standard for excellence in multiple fields including Best Kitchen and Bath Remodeling Contractor. Having multiple Super Service awards, repeat business and referrals being our main staple, It was one of my favorite times in life. I have been working in the world of home improvements and restoration since I was a child. Born and raised in Long Island, NY and moved to Redding, CA in 1991. I finished high-school 1993 and spent a year at Shasta Community College and a year at CSU. I Joined the United States Marine Corps in 1995 as a Logistics and Embarkation Specialist and was honorably discharged in 1995. My duty stations were Camp Pendleton in San Diego and Camp Schwab in Okinawa Japan. During my time in Okinawa, I spent 3 months in Pohang South Korea training with the South Korean ROC Marines. I have found that my time in the service has served me well as an individual as well in my professional life. The logistics training and experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity.I have been in sales since 2002 when I found Pacesetter Corporation. They were a 150 million dollar a year, nationwide, home improvement company. I learned the 10 step sales program designed to have a one call close. I was always within the top 25 sales reps/sales managers in the company. I was promoted to Assistant Sales Manager within 6 months and Sales Manager with my own office in Reno after 1.5 yrs.
