My name is David McDonald and I am a guitarist from Dublin.I have been playing guitar since I could wrap my hands around one and since then have been writing and performing in various bands over the years as well as also teaching guitar.At present I am the lead guitarist for Irish band 'Fox.E and the Good Hands'​ and we have performed at many festivals including Electric Picnic and Oxegen. I also composed songs on our debut album which was released in 2013 and available commercially on iTunes as well as other online sources.In 2012 we won the Irish Music Review Unsigned (MRU) award for best overall band.As well as this I love collaborating and recording with other artists and musicians and play with a funk and soul covers band by the name of 'Jacuzzi Grooves'. Regularly I get booked for gospel choir concerts which is another performance outlet I thoroughly enjoy. I have recorded and composed on many other differing projects over the years ranging from rock to very recently electronic, all of which you will hear on this very page.At present I have just graduated from my 4th and final year disciplining in guitar at BIMM Dublin.I have learned and experienced an invaluable amount of information and experience that I am constantly reflecting on and internalising in order to constantly pursue bettering myself on my journey as a creative individual, guitarist and musician.
