Designer working on NBN project which has involved gaining an understanding of the network and working closely with design, regional constructions teams, and our client NBNResponsibilities:• Strong knowledge of Design/AsBuilt/IFDV process after working through various FDAs in order to achieve project practical completion; including identifying and resolving various defects and design issues• Completed DDD cuts and GMLs to high standard• Resolve Telstra TLS 10.2 submission rejections• Worked in pre-survey team gaining an understanding of SOR codes and NBN Type 2 Architecture• Provided training, coaching, and support, to PC and construction teams to ensure correct SOR codes and costings were returned from the field on completion of work• Provided coaching and support to new members of AsBuilt team• Use SpatialNet and AutoCad on a daily basis• Control work flow for design team and feed information into management team and NBN on progress• Fix all defects that come back from NBN within required time frame• Work closely with construction teams to find complex in-field solutions due to either poor initial design or unforeseen problems• Schedule workload against NBN practical completion targets while considering construction submissions and available design resource Achievements:• Improved redline standard by working closely with Practical Completion (PC) and construction teams in WA, now used as benchmark within region• Identified various construction issues that were raised with higher management in order to resolve going forward• Set up arrangement with off shore contractor to help us achieve required completion dates for As-Builts. This involves QA at beginning and end of process as well as gaining approval from NBN and tracking work flow• Increased AsBuilt output by off shore design team from 3 FDAs a week to 15 FDAs a week which prevented a design bottle neck when construction redline submissions increased

Current national lead role for Incremental Build which involves working closely with the capacity team to ensure that there is sufficient availability to prevent L2C (lead to cash) orders failing.Successfully developed & deployed E2E incremental planning process including an Operational Level Agreement (OLA) which involved several key stakeholders.Assisted with creation of tracking system for high uptake areas, this enabled accurate resource and volume forecasting.Built a diverse team of planners capable of working on FTTC and FTTP incremental build.Achieved average 98% success figure against OLA.Identified and solved problems with card and copper installation, this will reduce planning time and job cost. Team lead for 20+ NGA planners across Scotland, I am responsible for the successful planning and deployment of the Next Generation Access network across Scotland and parts of England. I ensure any complex problems/issues are resolved as quickly as possible to prevent jeopardizing the successful delivery of the NGA program. I also make sure all work is planned and issued to the best quality standards, as well as keeping within budgets set out at director level.Successfully managed and owned the first two pilot exchanges for NGA in Scotland which involved creating and building processes which would go on to be used within the National project.Delivered phases 2, 3, and 4 of NGA project ahead of schedule.
