I’m Dave! I am an accomplished, enthusiastic, and reliable team leader with a passion for helping people engage with technology. I'm on the team at Platform.sh as a Sales Account Executive. Platform.sh is the modern Platform as a Service (PaaS) for organizations to build, run, and scale websites and web applications. Unlike managed hosting providers, IaaS providers, or traditional DevOps tools, Platform.sh includes a diverse library of development languages and frameworks, built-in tools to manage application lifecycle at scale, and flexible workflows to enable teams to innovate together.I am adept at bridging a customer's needs with how to best utilize the technology at hand. My empathetic approach allows me to pinpoint problems and formulate solutions based on an organization's specific requirements.Before moving into tech, I worked in the music venue industry at Hi-Dive Denver as General Manager. My partner and I moved from Denver, CO to Bellingham, WA to attend to family matters. I took the opportunity to pursue a lifelong dream of working with technology. I learned the tenants of web development while completing a Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree through Treehouse. Before Platform.sh I was the Sales Manager at CityMac, a local Apple retailer and service repair shop.Like a lot of people, my journey has had plenty of zigs and zags. But every opportunity is a building block and every experience, both good and bad, adds to what I bring to the table.
