I have been welding for 14 years and during this time I have achieved excellent skills and experience of welding a wide range of materials with various processes to EN 288 and ASME 1X standards. My main work experience has been with doosan babcock with whom I did my apprenticeship with and then continued to work for welding inconels, stainless steels, carbon steels and chromes. I was trained to a very high standard by Doosan Babcock and I am competent in using TIG, MMA, MIG and MAG.I have worked on shutdowns in nuclear power stations, Coal Fired Power Stations, petrochemical sites, oil refineries and pharmaceutical sites all over the UK and India. Most of the jobs I work on are 100% radiography with zero defects. I am also very familiar with risk assessments, permits to work, method statements, cosh assessments and welding procedures as you have to read and understand these prior to every job before carrying out the work ahead.
