Seagoing senior marine engineer with experience of all watchkeeping roles. Have now decided to further expand and embellish my shore based management skills on various vessel types.I have had a successful career at sea and latterly offshore West Africa, and have worked through the ranks from 4th Engineer to my current position of Chief Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor. I have also been assigned to various shore based projects during my career.(Houston, USA and Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea)I am a fully qualified work place assessor and have taken a great deal of satisfaction from mentoring and training an eager, highly talented (but largely unqualified) workforce, observing and managing the resultant handover of operational responsibilities from a largely expatriate team to a fully nationalised workforce consisting of Cameroonian Nationals. I have also mentored, trained and guided 2 Cameroonian Nationals into the Position of Maintenance Supervisor.I have a good knowledge of all Microsoft Office products as well as a wealth of experience using SAP and electronic Work Management Systems.I was onsite subject matter expert for company Work Management system.I am also a highly effective communicator and have worked with many different cultures and nationalities.
