Seeking a challenging position that will allow me to use my creative and critical thinking, problem solving, and technical knowledge to lead a team to deliver high quality outcomes while focusing on improving efficiencies and increasing user satisfaction.In my role of Infrastructure System Lead (2018 – 2021), I have been able to achieve a number of modernising, optimising and revitalising activities. Being responsible for oversight and approval of all BAU and Project activities while spearheading enhancement activities within the Infrastructure domain, maintaining compliance with legislation and business needs saw a significant improvement in user experience and financial exposure. Pioneering the businesses COVID flexible working solution to developing and deploying a SD-WAN, BYOD and various other strategies, seeing these through to conclusion have been some of my successes. More recently I have working as the Technical Lead, initially within the MSP project, responsible for all aspects of designing and achieving the target state requirements. After the MSP project wrapped up, I have been responsible for defining, designing and delivering a future state strategy for all D&I services delivered to its customers. Focused on revitalising and transformation into a new hybrid cloud model, committed to reduction of technical debt by introducing business owned tools and services and shaping and support model optimised for a business of our size and requirements. Previously to Urban Utilities, I had been fortunate to be the IT Operations Manager & Enterprise Architect for CPL. CPL is a not for profit organisation head-quartered in Brisbane, where I have applied my technical background and leadership experience to deliver a number of efficiencies and project outcomes to assist in the strategic vision of CPL as it transitioned into a new funding model. At Leica Geosystems I was able to expand my skills further into IT management. My responsibilities included day to day operational tasks, training and mentoring of staff, queue and workload management, designing, proposing and implementing service improvements, security and compliance auditing, vendor and contract management, IT budgeting and cost recovery management and strategic alignment to the organisation’s vision.
