At PwC, I have worked on engagements with multiple Fortune 500 enterprise companies to build products across many industries; including Life Sciences, Home/Business Security, Stock/Options Exchange, and Power/Utility. My most recent projects over the last couple of years have been largely focused on Serverless / Event-Driven architectures deployed on AWS. Some of the key elements of the tech stack involved Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Relational (Postgres) & Non-relational (Mongo) databases, Angular, and Git.

At V.Group, I supported the Group’s overall Information Technology needs. Some key tasks of my role included: - Management and monitoring of all installed systems and infrastructure - Insured highest levels of system and infrastructure availability- Monitoring and testing of internal applications, identifying possible solutions and working with the development team to implement- Implemented and maintained security, backup and redundancy strategies- Developed and maintained custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower time spent on repeatable tasks- Installed, configured, tested and maintained operating systems, applications and system management tools- 2nd and 3rd level support In addition, I began to work closely with the Group’s internally developed vessel management system (ShipSure) and built a dashboard for monitoring the health of the globally dispersed application servers. This solution leverage WMI queries of remote Windows Servers to source current state data and persisted it in SQL Server. The system then analyzed the data to identify potential risks and trigger alerts to the application support team. The information was surfaced via a custom web application.
