*Serve as functional resource for employees and managers, managing activities involving employee relations, management development and performance management*Counsel and guide employees and management regarding company policies and procedures and complex employee relations issues*Consult on corrective action, coaching and performance improvement plans and provide recommendations*Partner with leadership to enhance sales agents’ performance and employee retention*Support compensation and rewards programs including merit, incentive pay/commission, long-term incentive, promotion evaluation and quarterly and annual performance awards; guide leaders through the processes, prepare reports and analysis and present results and recommendations to leaders*Conduct investigations related to employee complaints and EEOC claims; make recommendations and implement solutions based upon findings*Utilize PeopleSoft and HRIS systems to manage employee groups and evaluate reports in relation to established goals

*Responsible for managing $4.0 million book of business of approximately 40 clients, including small to medium-sized businesses of between 10-150 employees*Act as business partner to clients with involvement in business planning, human resource needs, legal compliance and employee relations*Provide on-site training for managers and employees on topics such as non-harassment, performance management, workplace conflict, recognition and rewards*Assist clients in benefit plan design, including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits; conduct on-site open enrollment meetings with employees*Assist clients in compensation plan design, including conducting job evaluations, conducting salary surveys and designing hourly/salary pay scales and commission plans*Draft employee handbooks and job descriptions and ensure clients and worksite employees are updated on changes in employment laws and regulations*Counsel clients on employee relations, including performance management, discipline and termination*Oversee risk management process, including supervision of loss control representative and assistance in design of safety programs
