Title changed from Group Leader to Engineering Manger in 2017David also lead SDS Global Tenders and Frame Agreements from an engineering standpoint, and acted as the global wellhead subject matter expert during this time.

Helped build and manage the subsea drilling engineering team in the Asia Pacific Region. The role included 8 direct employees and outsourced work to India, Brazil, and Malaysia. David was in charge of training, headcount, salaries, and expense reports. He also acted as the Asia Pacific wellhead subject matter expert and lead for offshore support, tenders, and customer meetings.

Worked in a new product design engineering role creating Subsea Drilling Equipment. The role included tendering, engineering design, qualification testing, and implementation. David was also a rercuiter and mentor for new engineers. He worked on an land rig for 10 days and an offshore rig for a total of 18 days. He was also selected to performed a special induction heating study in Scotalnd in 2010 and worked to support project work in Singapore in 2011.
