Using my knowledge in manufacturing principles and CAD I was able to successfully build a bamboo-carbon bike frame that used 3D printed joints to align the bamboo poles. My unprecedented design eliminates the need for a jig.

• Designed scooter components to be manufactured out of recycled and recyclable PET plastic to improve its sustainability and robustness. • Designed scooter components that could be manufactured by injection molding or extrusion.• Designed, 3D modeled, and developed manufacturing drawings of scooter components. • Measured and recorded dynamic forces of a scooter using strain gages. • 3D printed and built concept design for ride testing.

• Worked alongside technical writing team to improve the clarity of manuals for ZHT products by creating custom technical drawings designed for a non-technical audience. • Worked with sales engineers to design and model realistic and elegant yacht tenders using customers’ requirements and feedback using SolidWork's PhotoView360• Modeled and constructed detailed 3D assemblies of internal sub-systems made specifically for user manuals.

•Determined the optimized size for new discar to meet demand for higher throughput using the specification provided by SIMEM’s customers.•Created a robust model of a colloidal mill using 3D-modeling software to accommodate a bigger discar and shaft to meet customer’s specifications. •Carried out FEA analysis to determine the shaft size required to safely sustain increased stresses created by the new discar, increased throughput, and increased power input. •Built scale 1:12 prototype model of mill as a display for BCIT Engineering Expo, May 2018.
