David Meilana Nur Arifin (22) holds a Bachelor of Science in Inorganic Chemistry from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Previously, he actively participated in the research of several lecturers and colleagues at his campus, such as computer-based XRD analysis of thin film TiO2, Lynde type-A (LTA) zeolite, corundum and hydroxyapetite from shells. He is proficient in the use of XRD software such as FullProf, Oscail-X and Match! 3 and can also interpret analytical results using software such as Origin Lab and Excel. His final project focused on analyzing the microstructure of TiO2 using crystallographic software. He completed a 3-month internship at the LPPMHP of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and has experience in the microbiological analysis of fishery products. David has published an article in a reputable journal (Sinta 2) along with lecturers and colleagues about the analysis of heavy metals in the aquatic environment.
