I am a graduate from the PhD program at the Wyant College of Optical Sciences in the University of Arizona. I worked with Dr. Poul Jessen studying quantum measurement and control, with a focus on spin-squeezed states of atomic ensembles. I worked on applying closed-loop RF feedback control on these large collective spin states to perform precision RF magnetometry. I have experience in building and operating cold neutral atom experiments; I have worked extensively with lasers and optical setups, digital and analog electronics, RF and microwave components, UHV systems, magnetic shielding, FPGAs, data acquisition systems, and more. I am currently looking for a job and am especially interested in positions relating to quantum information, quantum computing, and metrology.Before my PhD, I graduated with distinction from Harvey Mudd College with a BS in Physics. I worked with Professor Gregory Lyzenga on research on tectonic movement and uplift around fault lines in Southern California using high-precision GPS measurements.
