Directs and oversees the overall operations and site management of Warehouse Distribution Center. Implements programs to ensure overall safety, security, maintenance and ergonomics for the operations functions.Personnel and Company Policy: Delegates responsibility to managers to accomplish productivity goals. Enforces Distribution Center/company policies on safety and employee discipline by following guidelines, communicates changes to the workforce and oversees work and performance of warehouse associates. Creates performance improvement plans, administers discipline, and identifies training opportunities when appropriate.Networking: Participates in the Operations knowledge center, industry organizations, and other networking opportunities to bring in know-how and shares best practices with other interested parties.

Design, implement, and manage overall recruiting strategy. Promote Air Force careers and scholarship opportunities to a wide variety of students in the Charleston area. Analyze external units. Identify discrepancies and design corrective action plans. Prepare recruitment materials. Screen candidates. Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to leadership.

Led military base defense, security, law enforcement, and anti-terrorism / force protection initiatives for US only space-based missile warning department. Managed 125 team members in operations department and oversaw 4 work centers. Served as emergency services team commander, coordinating responses for all hostile threats to the installation, including responses from local and federal law enforcement and emergency medical technicians. Developed training programs for integrated base defense, military working dog program, and annual law enforcement training.

During absence of Director of Operations, led a 450-member team of operations and training personnel. Managed day-to-day security operations for Department of Defense (DOD) largest nuclear weapon storage area. Provided and maintained flawless security for DOD Secretary level positions.
