Responsible for managing the full product lifecycle and engineering of ZON’s products including product engineering and development, manufacturing development and execution as well as product technical service and support. • Work collaboratively with the COO, Product Design and Sales to developing a robust product development strategy including intellectual protection, strategic sourcing, technology road-mapping, and product innovation planning within set time/budget/people constraints.• Oversee product planning, development and execution of the product strategy including managing the product requirements, hiring consultants, and partners and engineering staff, and developing and maintaining the development and costing budgets.• Conceptualize and deliver manufacturable and innovative product solutions, Assuring the product is developed for specific needs, but with broader long term application(s) in mind.• Provide technical direction and guidance to internal and external engineering manufacturing, and service staff and resources, as well as hands-on project management, recognizing the role as both manager and support resource.• Ensure the highest product quality through the selection, qualification and management of external and internal manufacturing resources.• Develop and direct procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained through the full product life cycle including design, manufacturing and service. • Implementing industry best practices to the engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and life cycle management of the Powersol product. • Managing product quality of Powersol product through domestic and international sourcing partners.
