Conducted clinical evaluations of residents in the center and in county jails for Competency to proceed, as well as individual therapy on an inpatient basis. Consulted with state and center Administrators as part of the clinical executive team, in regard to program development, QI, and determination of individual risk and readiness for transfer to a less restrictive setting. Served as a member of the NJ Forensic Work Group modifying forms of court orders and process, while consulting with state division lawyers on problematic cases. Starting with only 3 Psychologists on inpatient units and 2 Psychologists conducting county jail evaluations, a full team of 27 individuals were employed under one united Department of Psychology by 3-1-2018.

Individual therapy with adults presenting diverse clinical symptoms and personality disorders. Interventions were evidence based and designed to resolve specific symptoms and maladaptive adjustment, utilizing an eclectic, multi-modal approach with emphasis on cognitive and interpersonal therapies. Certified by The Geriatric Assessment Center in Mt. Holly for neuropsychological assessment of dementia issues for clinical treatment or as part of a research project. -

Otherwise conducted assessments in emergency rooms of local medical hospitals. Regularly served after hours on call duty for all county mental health emergency situations from 10 PM to 8 AM.
