In addition to leading-edge infrastructure, Seaport Canaveral offers related support terminalling services including blending, additivation and delivery.

OVERVIEW:Direct full operation of International Terminal Regions in the Western Hemisphere that included storage terminals in Canada and the Caribbean. Lead, supervise, and coach team of 220; reporting to the SVP of Business Development. Hold P&L accountability for 8-figure annual EBITDA. OVERVIEW:Held full responsibility for all interactions with elected officials in the government of Aruba, including govt. ministries and agencies. Directed 5 Valero Aruba companies, including the refinery. Served as the Media Spokesperson for the Valero Aruba Refinery and its Aruba companies, a Spokesperson for Aruba Refinery union negotiations, and a member of the M&A team for the sale of refinery and other assets.HIGHLIGHTS:★ Process Improvement – Worked with software company to develop comprehensive Immigration Permitting System approved for use by the Government of Aruba to process work permits. Achieved successful processing of 8,000 work permit requests from 2005 to 2008 (1st instance of digital permits).

OVERVIEW:Retained for Director role following Valero’s purchase of the Refinery and Marketing assets from the El Paso Corporation. As Director of Marketing & Community Affairs, managed 5 Valero Aruba companies with over 100 employees, serving as the Managing Director for all 5 units. Additionally directed operations and marketing for 10 gas convenience stores. Oversaw truck fleet and jet fuel deliveries, managed lubricant sales and equipment installation (wholesale and retail), and supervised jet fuel deliveries to a govt.-owned power plant. Negotiated DESC jet fuel contracts with the U.S. military.HIGHLIGHTS:★ High-Level Negotiations – Negotiated 9-figure reduction in Customs Tax lawsuit (over 8 years old), engaging in direct negotiations with the Directorate of the Tax Inspectorate.

OVERVIEW:In charge of all interactions with the Government of Aruba for the Coastal Aruba Refinery (formerly owned by Exxon), reporting to the SVP of Government Affairs. Served as a member of the M&A team for the sale of refinery and related assets to Valero and the El Paso-Coastal merger of refinery and related assets. Managed all advertisements and media statements.HIGHLIGHTS:★ Operations Development – Served as Project and Operations Manager for the Coastal Bonaire Fuels Company. Led construction of marine berth in Bonaire and standalone jet fuel terminal on the airport (shipped jet fuel from Aruba to Bonaire, discharged fuel into tanks, and loaded KLM planes from Bonaire to Holland).★ Government Negotiations – Negotiated 10-year access agreement/concession with the Government of Bonaire to provide the abovementioned services, with the government paying for the facility construction (served as the PM for the construction cycle).★ EHS Strategic Initiatives – Appointed by the El Paso Corporation to steer the Government of Aruba towards a favorable decision on the Environmental Trust Fund during the due diligence (company then used millions from the Fund to reopen oil recovery wells to pump trapped oil under the refinery).

OVERVIEW:Directed all marketing and operations functions across 10 convenience stores (company-owned, jobber, and dealer gasoline). Reported to the SVP of Coastal Refining and Marketing. Oversaw 5 business entities that handled all logistical and business activities beyond refinery gates. Supervised, trained, and mentored 8 direct reports. Managed plane fueling and truck/pipeline logistics for government-owned power generation plants. Developed and managed EHS program for Coastal Aruba Fuels.HIGHLIGHTS:★ Negotiations – Successfully negotiated 4 agreements with the overall package of less than 3% annual increases (oversaw 2 individual Collective Labor Agreements within 1 business).★ Profitability – Increased profits by more than 50% (multimillion-dollar increase) as the LPG Trader for the Aruba Island to the end supplier. Convinced Aruba distribution company to build their own facility and negotiated better rate for the LPG.
