Swing Out Adelaide is the largest school in Adelaide that teaches swing dancing to all levels. Swing Out Adelaide prides itself as being a place for traditional swing music for their weekly social events and special events.

I have been a workshop and practical supervisor for first and second year course for the School of Computer Science. Workshops and practicals range from 60 - 80 students within a class. Afterwards, being promoted to tutorials for second and third year courses, which contain up to 35 students in a class. In tutorials, I aim to engage students in group work with their peers and create a comfortable and approachable environment. I also take requests from the school and student bodies who seek private tutoring assistance with their course work.

Working with the full time staff on campus, I provided a helping hand to running the events, schedules, getting in contact with mentors throughout the program and keeping up to date with the cohorts over the program period.

MDD Solutions is a small start-up company based in Adelaide targeting software efficiency solutions. My technical background sees me heading the technical division of the company.

What started as doing odd jobs for friends and family, turned into a interdependent business that provides an honest and affordable I.T. solutions and services for residential and small businesses.

Freelance iOS app development for The University of Adelaide, Waite campus. My main job was to add additional modifications to an existing pair of iOS app for use in the field of berry research.

Continuing from my group's student semester long project over the summer period to shape the application to be used as a soft-release in the University's orientation week. The development included adding additional features to the framework, web server functionality, publishing the app on the Apple App store and promo in the Hub Central building for the soft-release.

I worked as a vocational (VAC) student for my Software Engineering degree. I experienced working in a small team with my supervisor, Robert Shaw, who manages and maintains the core program that is used by all staff in the division. My work was directed at improving a particular application that had been in use for more than a decade. Working with this system required careful use of the development environment to minimise any and all side effects of changing a component or associated data. Prior to any development and integration, I ran analysis on some existing features to identify hot spots, which were later used to show the performance increase from my enhancement and present any limits with the new implementation. Towards the end of my time at the DSTO I presented my findings to the senior staff of the division with the implementation of the enhancement.
