Most importantly, I am an artist. Everything I have accomplished in life leads back to this fundamental root and nothing I do nor create lacks the artistic process. Its the dedication and drive of completing something, not because it is a job, but because, in the end, every piece created is a work of art, and every task is treated as such.For my career, I am a professional metal fabricator and weldor with 12 years experience. Originally designing and fabricating film production/set equipment and off-road vehicles as a hobby, my joy for working with metal grew into a profession and a life long goal. From fabricating elaborate recycling conveyor systems at Green Conveyor, working with many unusual custom client odd jobs at Metrolina Corp, and to now building completely custom phenomenal spaces using recycled shipping containers, it has been a non-stop learning experience with no end in sight.Before my welding career I was an art and film major at Broome Community and Binghamton University. After schooling, I decided to take advantage of a completely different career path and applied for a field drilling rig cement production company during the gas drilling boom in the north-east at SLB. It was the opportunity for free education and my class A licence. This was also my first job experience consisting of frequent 100 hour weeks, sleepless days, and consistent extreme physical labor in severe environments. After two years as a field cement operator, I have learned many lessons, but most importantly that the human drive can overcome any physical and mental challenge. I am grateful for the oilfield and my crew, for it has made me a hard worker with a never give up mentality and better team member.I am not currently looking for a job. My home is Boxman Studios.
