GOBI3, YBP's online, interactive bibliographic information service, provides access to more than 10 million titles in an English language database. YBP's headquarters is in Contoocook, New Hampshire, USA.As an Account Processor in the Technical Services Department of YBP I was a team player in the department’s goal of providing the correct Machine-Readable Catalogue records and sending them electronically to the client. I also helped in providing the warehouse with accurate printed products (Selin labels and cards) to the warehouse where these printed products where affixed to or otherwise provided with books. I Also assisted the warehouse by scanning barcodes, picking books from shelves, and related tasks as assigned.

• Authored an 82-page scientific report with a 40-source bibliography examining potential sources of water quality problems in the Blodgett Brook Watershed and their effect on Lake Sunapee for the Lake Sunapee Protective Association in New London, NH.• The study involved water sampling from 8 sites over a 3-month period from August 31, 1994 through December 14, 1994 in the watershed and macro invertebrate samples were taken from 2 sites on Blodgett Brook on October 6, 1994. Analyses of these macroinvertebrate samples revealed the presence of moderate levels of organic pollution, of which an old sewage treatment plant was believed to be the primary cause. • A build out analysis conducted for the 1750-acre watershed indicated the potential for a three-fold increase in sewage and phosphorous loading.

With Assistance of Phil Morrison, Fish and Wildlife Biologist for the US Fish and Wildlife Service, I co-authored a report describing deficiencies in design and construction found in field surveys of 15 permitted wetland mitigation sites across New England with recommendations for corrective action.

Fitchburg, Mass

The City of Fitchburg Department of Public Work’s Water Division is a municipally Reservoir owned and operated water utility, responsible for the treatment and delivery of water to the residents of Fitchburg.I Collected water samples weekly from seven sites in the Lake Wachusett watershed and analyzed them in the City of Fitchburg, Mass DPW laboratory for pH, Alkalinity, Turbidity, True Color, Conductivity, Total Iron, Manganese, Nitrates, Phosphates, Total Suspended Solids, and Sodium. Findings presented in a report discussing areas of potential concern, particularly Turbidity and Total Suspended Solids resulting from ski area runoff.

Stonewall Farm Keene, Nh

With Assistance from Wetland Scientist and Project Director Rick Van De Poll and the Project Coordinator Katrina Maloney, I delineated and mapped 7 wetlands (five wet meadows, one Riverine wetland, and one beaver pond which was a mixture of wetland classes) on the Stonewall Farm property in Keene, NH and assessed them using the "New Hampshire Method."
