When the Guitar PMM role opened up, I volunteered to manage the category until they found the right person to fill it. That lasted for 7 years. I was also invited to join the global Electric Guitar Working Group and contribute to product development.At the end of my time with Yamaha Canada, I was deeply involved in setting up YC's distribution of the Ampeg brand before joining the global strategy team at the Yamaha Guitar Group in California.

With the promotion to PMM, I took on greater responsibility for sales and marketing, pricing strategy, promotional planning with key accounts, and artist relations for the Steinberg category while also managing Yamaha products including studio monitors, compact mixers, and audio interfaces.

I joined Yamaha Canada Music when they assumed distribution for Steinberg products in Canada. I was responsible for inventory planning, staff and dealer training, and customer support.

I also assisted in technical support and upgrade sales, managed multiple dealer accounts, and hosted the Toronto chapter of the Club Cubase user group.

I worked on variety of music and advertising projects, primarily using 24-track analog and SADiE systems. My biggest project involved transferring and editing archival material for over 150 CDs of traditional francophone music and storytelling for the Centre Franco-Ontarien de Folklore.
