I underwrote residential mortgages of up to $750M, preparing supporting documents for funding, and drafting memorandums, term sheets, and commitment letters. I was also responsible for liaising with external consultants in the preparation and closing of mortgage loans, incl. brokers, appraisers, solicitors, insurers, etc.In addition, I performed enhanced tracking of the Bank's credit exceptions non-conforming load in order to limit risk exposure (mainly through controlling LTV and TDS ratios performing stress tests as needed, and ongoing risk monitoring via KRIs and risk rating matrices).To that end, I collaborated with team members and internal support functions on a daily basis, and observed operational improvements to streamline the credit approval process.

I observed proper due diligence through detailed analysis of borrower debt servicing ability, credit quality, and collateral review (5 C's of Credit), while performing credit adjudication and risk analysis via internal financial and risk models.Fostered relationships with brokers and Borrowers, providing comprehensive account servicing including prepayment, renewals, refinance, and loan term restructuring etc.I was also responsible for the compilation of bank portfolio reports and modeling monthly pipeline forecasts.
