Nurse for 27 years, leadership in the healthcare field as a Director of Nursing for 6 years, additional roles include: weekend supervisor, infectionist, safety manager and case manager in a variety of specialties: addiction, tele, cath lab, psych, LTC, and serving underprivileged youth. These diverse settings offered the opportunities to learn and hone important leadership skills in order to improve patient safety, patient outcomes, performance improvement, raising morale, and creating or improving processes.
