Accounting lead on Asset Services largest client instruction. My initial responsibility oversaw the transfer of 35 roles from our London to Glasgow office following the client outsource.I now have direct line management for 15 staff within the Accounting Team and a further oversight role of 19 staff within the wider REAS Function. Responsible for ensuring service delivery is met on the contract and across the department who carry out a variety of duties including calculations, reconciliations, reporting, credit control, accounts payable and banking activities.Required to interact and build strong working relationships at all levels within the CBRE and Client business.Responsible for agreeing budgets and developing strategy and planning in response to wider business or departmental needs.I also sit on the CBRE Property & Asset Management Junior Board, assisting the operations board with maintaining nationwide consistency and continual improvement in CBRE’s client offer

Key lead in several projects involving the standardisation and improvement of processes across the Property & Asset Management business. I also designed and implemented the Real Estate Accounting Services International Standards for Assurance Engagements (ISAE) No. 3402 Control Framework in 2011 achieving a clean audit report in its first year.In 2010 I played a central part in the outsourcing of accounting roles to our offshore partner Xchanging. I was involved from planning through steady state which included scope selection, process design, training, SLA management and communications.
