Work Experience:Applied background of electrical theory for software developers in a fast-paced development cycle providing solutions to Municipal Public Power and Cooperative Electric Utilities. Provided professional engineering guidance to developers related to electrical data analytics, data management and use of AMI(advanced metering infrastructure) and Operational data. Mastered the implementation cycle of the analytics and data management product portfolio: installing, loading, and validating the utility data, running quality assurance, and preforming customer reviews of the installed products.Projects:Project leader for Maximo Asset Management - Created workable solution to track transformers, poles, and other assets for Municipal Public Power and Cooperative Electric Utilities, and provided flexible exportability/importability from software. Implemented ESRI ArcGIS Mapping to display AMI collected realtime events(ie. Hot-sockets, loss of potential, tamper, phase imbalance, etc) for customers. Validated customer shapefiles/connectivity models, configured connectivity attributes and created interface/integration files and mapping.Transformer Loading Analysis - Co-Developed a method to analyze transformer data from a SQL database to prevent conditions that deteriorate from the normal paper insulation life cycle of 20.55 years. Analyzed transformer data to provide a list of underloaded and overloaded transformers using calculations based on Preload/Postload conditions relative to the all time kVA peak.Data Analytics - Displayed data in easy to view charts/graphs based on data pulled from SQL databases with queries for analyzing line losses over a network, sorted by substation and feeder categories.
