Based on Aquamarine Driller (Jack up) in Malaysia I am the sole Chief Electronic on Board. I am responsible for the Maintenance, update and repair of all electronic Equipment on the Vessel. The Equipment includes: TTS Sense Drilling Package, Canrig Top Drive, Mud Pumps, BOP (NOV) and CAD unit Control system, Hernis CCTV, Working with Siemens VFD’s, Baker Jacking System, BMC 2250 and 900 Deck Cranes, VEGA Mud Tanks and Ballast system, TYCO Addressable Fire & Gas System, Omega P2020 Telephone and PA system, UPS, Catepiller Engine Management system, Vessel Management System, TV System, All IT management, from Network issues to PC issues. I am also responsible for Electrical issues which occur when I’m on Shift as the Chief Electrician works on the opposite shift, I have 2 local Electricians who I’m responsible for.

Lead Software Engineer on H267 Jack up Rig in CIMC Raffles Shipyard China.Complete Initial Acceptance Test and Commissioning on West Eminence Twin Ram Rig Hoisting System, also the Scarabeo 9. Carried out the Failure Management Evaluation Analysis (FMEA) and Troubleshooting on the both Aux and Main Hoisting Systems. Considered a Ram Rig Hoisting / HPU specialist within Maritime Hydraulics, have also been utilised on West Phoenix, Aker Barents and Aker Spitsbergen, West Navigator for general trouble shooting, commissioning and Construction Change Notice (CCN) completion.Spent 1.5 years as technical support on West Eminence, ended up being the sole Maritime Hydraulics representative for the last year looking after all MH equipment. Have now spent 2.5 years on Scarabeo 9, I am the sole Aker MH representative on this rig at present providing support for Saipem on all Drilling Equipment. Siemens and ABB Variable Frequency Drives utilising Drive Monitor/Drive Window Software to fault find or update.Working on Hazardous Area Installations.Compilation of detailed Engineering Daily, Survey and Job Closure Reports along with Service Logs for customer information and billing.Have developed excellent interpersonal skills in order to successfully liaise directly with Offshore Installation and Client personnel.

Worked first Line Phantom, Puma, Chinook and Nimrod MR2. Also worked 2nd line Phantom Missile Control System, Avionic Role Equipment for the Nimrod MR2.
